Papa Santa

Just the other night, my husband was so enthusiastically telling me about my father’s Facebook profile picture being Santa’s. Apparently, even when we’ve been married for almost 4 years, I haven’t told my husband about my father’s obsession with Christmas. So I told him how Papa loves to decorate and buy at least one piece of new Christmas decor every year, how he plays Christmas songs every morning of December, and how he made a make-shift Christmas tree for a couple of years when he found out that our tree was already broken but was too late to get a new one.

These fond memories of my father and his excitement during the Christmas season was brought about while I was browsing through frames for eyeglasses at Zenni Optical which launched a collection of Christmas-themed frames, how cute! I must say, the usually boring task of choosing a nice frame for eyeglasses is made easy, simple and exciting when you do it online, especially at Zenni. I just love that there’s a search button so we won’t have a hard time looking for something in particular that we like. You can also choose frames by style, shape, color, etc. With the seemingly, countless options, you’re guaranteed to spend more than a few minutes on their site.

I found this Santa frame and thought about my Papa. I wonder if he loves Christmas that much to wear this to work. He would definitely wear it at home, but I don’t have his measurements. I may save this idea for next Christmas. And because these are relatively cheap, I may be able to get him another present! Tee hee! Happy Holidays!
