wrecked

One time, I think that was in the mall, we parked next to a Toyota Corolla exactly like the one that the hubby wrecked some five years ago. Like clockwork, he talked about how he misses that car and the features that he loved, how it was spacious and all that. And I knew where the conversation was headed – to realizing how much his monthly payments and insurance were and how it was a “blessing in disguise” that he wrecked it because he ended up having the car that he’s driving now, the one that just got transfered to our names as registered owners. Blah blah blah!
I really can’t tell you in detail how that car came to it’s disastrous end. But I can tell you that it’s not because of natural causes, like say, snow in Chicago where IT could have survived with the hubby and revived at some Chicago auto repair shop. It’s not even a small boo-boo like a malfunction with water pump or something. It’s something that he didn’t have the guts to tell me until, like, 2 years ago. And yeah, we’re having a row right now, thus the tone of this post.
