Most Priced Possessions

Hubby and I were watching Wife Swap the other day and the featured families were (1) business-oriented and (2) artists.
There was this disturbing scene when the artist wife was changing the rules. She asked the business-oriented family’s kids to give up their most priced possession to spend time with their dad. The dad, with extreme confidence, asked his son what he would give up and the son replied, “Nothing.” The dad was obviously broken. His daughter was also having a dilemma, she didn’t want to let go of any of her things in exchange for her dad’s time. This is because, the kids are paid for doing the chores and they were probably buying their things with hard-earned money, so they didn’t want to give up anything just like that.
The episode ended well, though. They all learned their lesson. Hubby asked me what I would give up to spend time with him. I said, “Nothing,” too because I think I spend enough time with him. But he forced me to tell him what my priced possessions are and I said that they are the iPhone & my HP mini; but that’s just based on price. ;p
