I think it’s also my husband’s first time to watch fireworks display on site this year because we had several boo-boos…

We should have brought:

  • sweaters because it gets cold even on summer nights like this
  • blankets or collapsible chairs to sit on
  • hair clips, pony tails or a decent hat to keep my hair from going all over the place
  • my comb! I never leave without by comb, but today…Where on earth is my comb?!

We strained our necks looking up for more than 15 minutes. Before the whole thing ended, we were already walking/running back to the car, which was parked in the farther lot improvised for parking, to avoid the crowd.

It was definitely our first, but when we were in the car, we said, “We survived!”

I was able to capture 5 minutes of the spectacle on video, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGvOPek1PTM

…and I found my comb by the door on the passenger seat. Was so happy! ;p
